David Hainlin, the founder of Intraspective, has over 27 years of experience in systems engineering and application development. David is passionate about creating excellent development teams. Great teams have more fun, produce better systems and can sustain a much more balanced work/life existence.
He is a certified Scrum Master and has taught and mentored on development processes extensively. David has always had great instincts for picking tools and tech stacks and was an early adopter of Java (Certified Enterprise Architect 1999) and Ruby on Rails. He is a strong advocate for using web-based tools to promote transparency and open communication. Whenever possible, he promotes the use of open source and non proprietary tools/protocols.
David's current passion is developing web applications in weeks rather than months/years using Ruby on Rails. Such an approach is ideally suited for agile teams, which are highly efficient, flexible and successful.
With 18 years experience in the Dallas IT community, David has developed an extensive network of talent from which to draw.
His work with various business sectors is broad and includes artificial intelligence Labs, advanced/complex defense
programs, banking, financial, telecom, government, oil and gas, transportation, and energy utilities.
